Dermal Fillers

At Pure Dermatology Cosmetic & Hair Center, our Master Injectors’ goals are to always deliver natural enhancements to your skin while obtaining a youthful and refreshed look! Some ways to go about that is by using dermal fillers.
All Dermal fillers are a non-surgical injection that helps correct the skin and deeper lines both superficial and into the deeper dermis. The different filler options are based upon the depth of correction desired and are excellent options for a non-surgical facial augmentation. We carry an array of different fillers such as: Juvederm Ultra®, Juvederm Ultra Plus®, Juvederm Vollure®, Juvederm Voluma®, Belotero® and Radiesse®.

We offer non-surgical neckline filler A.K.A ‘Tech Neck”, tear trough augmentations, temporal filler, lip enhancements, chin, cheek contour, jawline augmentations, nasolabial fold filler, marionette line filler, non-surgical butt lift, and acne scar filler.

Botox/Xeomin

Botox® and or Xeomin® is a Neurotoxin that helps to prevent deeper wrinkles from forming. Just like any muscle in our body, overuse leads to growth, or hypertrophy of that muscle. The small muscles of facial expression are no different. When we are constantly overusing these muscles by, for example, frowning, this leads to the “crows feet” look, or “11” lines between our eyebrows. Botox can provide rest and relaxation for those muscles.

At Pure Dermatology, we also treat other areas for optimal facial rejuvenation. We offer correction of the masseters with Botox®/Xeomin® for jaw-slimming and relieving the symptoms of TMJ. Botox®/Xeomin®, ‘orange peel’ chin dimples, slimming of the nose, and hair loss. These Neurotoxins can also be used to treat hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating in the hands, feet, underarms, and groin. Check out our Hair Restoration page to learn more about what you can do for hair loss.

Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is a condition that causes excessive sweating in the hands, feet, underarms and in some cases the groin area. Botox or Xeomin may be the answer for you! These neurotoxins target the nerves in the muscles that cause sweating, helping to ‘relax’ the muscle to alleviate excess sweat. Typically for most patients, 50 units of the Neurotoxin is injected into the area of excessive sweating once every 3-6 months. This treatment can last longer, which is different for each patient. We recommend consulting with your provider about Hyperhidrosis to see if this is the right option for you.

QWO

Did you know 90% of women have cellulite? QWO is one of the first injectable treatments to reduce cellulite in the buttock and thigh region. QWO is a quick and safe way to help reduce dimpling for those stubborn areas of cellulite. The treatment takes a total of 30 minutes with minimal downtime. Bruising is the most common side effect. Bruising can last up to 4-6 weeks so we recommend scheduling this treatment when you don’t plan a sunny vacation!

Kybella

Kybella is an FDA-approved enzyme that permanently dissolves fat, in stubborn fat pockets of the body. Kybella is predominately used to create a slimmer and more contoured jawline. We also use Kybella off label to reduce fat pockets above the knee, banana roll, or elbows. Kybella works over the course of 6-8 weeks, we recommend 3 sessions to gain optimal results. Since Kybella is great for smaller areas of fat, Coolsculpting may be a better option for you if you are looking for a reduction in the inner thighs, abdomen, arms, or flanks.

Clear + Brilliant / Permea

Clear + Brilliant/ Permea is the first FDA approved laser to help improve appearance of pore size! Not only does Clear + Brilliant/Permea help with pigmentation but is a great laser to help with overall tone and textural issues. This laser is safe and effective on all skin types which is why it’s one of our most popular in office treatments. You’ll notice results after just one laser treatment but we typically recommend anywhere between 3-6 treatments every 2-4 weeks.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)

An IPL photofacial helps to treat any photo damage on the skin. The IPL treatment is widely known to help diminish brown spots and any redness on the skin with minimal to no downtime. Most patients need 6 treatments to see a noticeable difference.

Fractionated 1540 Laser(Fraxel)

Our Palomar Icon 1540 laser is one of our non-ablative fractionated resurfacing lasers. There are multiple skin conditions that this laser can treat. Anywhere from fine lines and wrinkles, “smokers lines”, melasma, enlarged pores, acne scars, skin texture, stretch marks, crepey skin and new or pre-existing scars. The way the Palomar Icon 1540 Laser works is by sending controlled energy into the treatment area creating a micro injury. As with any injury in our body, our skin will end up healing. Since we are controlling the injury and the setting of our laser, the treatment results in a much quicker healing response. Most patients need 6 treatments of this laser to see optimal improvement. If you are looking to tighten up any areas of your body, check out ‘Thermage’ on our Body Contouring page.

Ematrix Resurfacing Laser

Ematrix is one of our most popular laser options for our patients with acne scars and textural issues. Ematrix is a radiofrequency sublative laser that uses energy to penetrate deeper into the skin which means it allows for deeper penetration of the skin to better help boost your overall collagen production which results in more youthful, glowy and smoother skin! Helping to tighten pores, brighten overall dark acne scarring, and smooths out deep scars. Because of this technology, it allows a more aggressive treatment, with much less downtime.

What to avoid before & after your treatment?

  • Stop the use of all Salicylic and Glycolic Acids as well as any Retinol, Tretinoin & Retin-A for 3-5 days pre/post treatment.
  • Staying out of the sun when the UV rays are at their peak (12-2pm) as any laser treatment will  make your skin more photosensitive.
  • Do not wear makeup on the day of treatment
  • No sun-tanning or self-tanners 4 weeks prior to treatment (includes spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, sun exposure, etc.)
  • Some medications or supplements may increase the risk of bruising. Consult with your physician.
  • Notify clinic with any changes to your health history or medications since your last appointment
  • History of herpes or cold sores may require an antiviral prescription prior to treatment

As with any non-ablative resurfacing lasers, most patients have a mild-moderate ‘sunburn’ look & feel anywhere from 2-3 days. On day number 3, your skin will feel very dry, similar to a fine sandpaper like texture. Slight swelling is normal for this treatment and can last up to 5 days. This is completely normal and should subside after the 7th day. We recommend moisturizing daily to help with this process.

DermLyft

DermLyft is the ultimate no downtime non-surgical face lift. Our office helps create the optimal face/neck lift by combining a series of treatments such as: Resurfacing Lasers, Dermal Fillers, Platelet Rich Plasma and Neurotoxin to help you achieve your desired goals. DermLyft is the best, most effective, and most affordable way to stay looking refreshed and young! (Results will vary patient to patient)
